Round-up: Today’s top stories in the morning papers in Korea (April 6, 2017)
1. ParkSaMo, supporters of Park Geun-hye, created Saenuri Party today. As soon as Liberal Party of Korea changed its name, the conservative group secured the name and held inauguration ceremony yesterday on the 5th. Saenuri Party said it would have a presidential candidate.
I told you that Huh Kyung-young would not finish last in the presidential race even if he ran for president. Who is the candidate anyway?
2. Former culture minister Kim Jong-duk was indicted on charges of creating and managing a blacklist of cultural figures said in his first trial that he had nothing more to say. Another former culture minister Jung Gwan-ju apologized for his suspected involvement in the scandal.
While ministers apologized, former president denied. Park Geun-hye, prisoner 503, will receive heavy punishment then.
