Round-up: Today’s top stories in the morning papers in Korea (March 7, 2017)
1. Special Prosecutors say that Park Geun-hye colluded with Choi soon-sil and received 43 billion won worth of bribes from Samsung Group. In addition, the president received illegal beauty treatment and was instrumental in culture blacklist.
Who are these people who still argue that Park Geun-hye is as clean as an angel? They make me crazy.
2. Even though China is Korea’s number one export market, Korea also imports a tremendous amount of Chinese products. Amid China increases its economic retaliation against South Korea, anti-China sentiment grows in Korea as Korean consumers refuse to buy Chinese items by launching a boycott campaign.
Because Koreans do not believe in the Korean government’s diplomatic power, they know that they should defend themselves.
