Round-up: Today’s top stories in the morning papers in Korea (February 27, 2017)

1. Korean President Park Geun-hye decided not to attend the Constitutional Court’s impeachment trial. As the legal representatives of the president said she would not participate in the final hearing in the impeachment trial, prosecutors and lawyers are expected to make a final statement during the final hearing.

Where there is no shame, there is no honor. She does not attend the trial. I mean she cannot attend the trial.

2. Pundits say that the rally that opposes impeachment by waving American flags is an international embarrassment. However, the conservative group argues that America is the savior of Korea and that Korea is desperately in need of American help to eradicate pro-North Korea forces.

What they are doing is not an only international embarrassment, but the problem is that they are not ashamed of it.
