Round-up: Today’s top stories in the morning papers in Korea (December 23, 2016)
1. The Constitutional Court of Korea called on President Park Geun-hye to explain her alleged seven-hour absence during the Sewol disaster. The court also asked Park to elucidate an hour-by-hour account of what official and private work she was during the first seven hours when the ferry sank.

2. German prosecutors said they would offer to help the investigation team led by special prosecutor Park Young-soo amid the team is in the process of forcibly summoning Jeong Yoo-ra. They are in the course of investigating Choi Soon-sil’’s involvement in money laundering through their company in Germany.
Jeong once said having wealthy parents is one of her capabilities. Shen will end up in jail because of her parents.
