Round-up: Today’s top stories in the morning papers in Korea (December 19, 2016)
1. The TV program of Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS) ‘What People Want to Know” received an enthusiastic response as the program dealt with the episode called “Kill Or Be Killed,” which is related to two cousins once removed of President Park Geun-hye. Bae Jung-hoon, the TV producer of the program, left his message in his social media, saying, “We need your confession, please. Don’t get cold feet.”
I feel like I am watching a horror movie. What really killed them? Is that the one whom I think he/she is?
2. Lee Sang-ho, a reporter from Gobal News, submitted all documents about President Park Geun-hye in the last four years to the special prosecutor. Lee reported about Choi family’s real esate amounted to hundreds of billion won right
before the presidential election in 2012 and casted doubts that Choi Soon-sil is the president’s influence peddler when the confidential document about Jung Yoon-hoe, Choi Soon-sil’s husband, had leaked in 2014.
Lee is also from Munhwa Broadcasting Company (MBC). Gobal News is having a difficult time these days. We sincerely look forward to having your interests and support.
