Round-up: Today’s top stories in the morning papers in Korea (December 6, 2016)
1. As No-Park Line in ruling Saenuri Party changed their mind, the impeachment motion on President Park Geun-hye is likely to pass at National Assembly. As a result, Pro-Park leadership and Cheng Hwa Dae were in a state of panic as they were unable to come up with follow-up measures.
The whole nation is in the state of panic more than a month. Don’t say anything and just step down.
2. A best-selling Korean book this year was ‘Love toward imperfect things’ written by a Korean Buddhist monk Hyemin Snim (Venerable Hyemin in English). While last year’s best-selling book was ‘Courage to be hated’ which was based on Alfred Alder’s psychology, ‘The 100-year-old man who climbed out of the window’ became the bestseller in 2014.
The whole nation probably needs healing as a result of national stress.
