Round-up: Today’s top stories in the morning papers in Korea (November 8, 2016)
1. The approval rating for South Korean President Park Geun-hye fell to 5%, setting an all-time low for any South Korean president. Gallup Korea said that the supporting rating was 0% in the Honam region (Gwangju and Jeolla Province), which is unlikely to occur, not to mention the shockingly low 5% rating. The research firm said, however, this is what the outcome of the survey.
I am not surprised. President Park’s emphasis on ‘national unity’ finally came true.
