Round-up: Today’s top stories in the morning papers in Korea (November 4, 2016)
1. The Minjoo Party of Korea criticized President Park Geun-hye in regards to Choi Soon-sil’s monopolizing state affairs, saying “she chose Choi’s daughter over students who died during Sewol tragedy.” According to media reports, the former deputy minister Kim Jong stated that the president instructed him that athletic reform should be done after the Sewol disaster.
After all, the president wept crocodile tears. I have nothing else to say because it is horrible.
2. Kaohsiung Mayor Chen Chu who led the democratic movement in Taiwan visited the City Hall of Suwon, the Southern part of Seoul. Chen Chu said that South Korean President should pay attention to the nation regarding the current issue.
The president would not have done it she knew about it. She only listened to Soon-sil instead.
