1.Octylisothiazolinone (OIT), a toxic chemical substance similar to humidifier disinfectant, was found in ‘antibiotic filter’ used in air purifiers and automobile air conditioner. The filters that contain OIT are a total of 88 models; they are 58 models from seven air purifier companies, three models from two automobile companies, and 27 models from two home air conditioning companies.
