Round-up: Today’s top stories in the morning papers in Korea (April 15, 2016)
1. There is a growing controversy over monitoring employees through CCTV as people report to the National Human Rights Commission of Korea. The issue garnered people’s attention as a pharmaceutical company recently increased the number of CCTV by three folds when the company modernized facilities.
The problem is that there is not law or guidelines regarding the CCTV installation. Why don’t we install a CCTV in president’s office under employees’ supervision?
2. A growing number of people struggle to sleep. Stress and bad sleep habits may be the cause of sleep disturbance. According to the National Health Insurance, the number of individuals suffers from sleep disorder has increased to 455,900 last year, which rose by 57.5 % in 5 years.
